Education:

• University of South Bohemia, Faculty of Science, České Budějovice
• 2000-2003 BSc degree - Biology
• 2003-2006 MSc degree - Zoology
• from 2006 till now PhD degree - Zoology

Research interests and other activities:

• ornithology
• mammalogy (especially dormice Gliridae)
• since 1997 member of the Czech Society for Ornithology
• since 2005 co-worker of the Czech Bird Ringing Centre in Prague
• since 2008 participation in three-year grant project „Population genetic structure in two European endemics, the   European ground squirrel and the garden dormouse: a comparison of fragmented versus continuous populations“ of the Grant Agency of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic
